Email to BT's complaints services after they informed that my BT Broadband talk service was ending due to none-use. This was a free VOIP service:

Dear sirs. Thank you for stopping my BT broadband talk service. Maybe if you hadn't supplied me with faulty equipment in the first place then I would have used the service. Before we go any further, yes, I have told you on numerous occassions that the phone was faulty. But you didn't help in any way. The vision is faulty along with the broadband connection but again nothing seems to get done does it? BT have become my nightmare. And when I wanted to come away you inform me I have an 18 month contract and I cannot come away until March? Despite being under the impression I only had a 12 month contract? So meanwhile I have to put up with a broadband service which continually drops, a vision service that continually stutters when on demand programmes are watched, talk service that I couldn't use because the phone never worked. But hey, you've withdrawn that now! One of your previous advisors told me that because I was on the 18 month contract thingy I couldn't stop my vision on demand services because I would re-new my contract. So like an idiot I have to pay £24 a month until March for a faulty BT vision service thats barely watchable. The same advisor also told me that you would be investigating this 18 month contrat thing. But I haven't heard anything since. So, Keep on withdrawing my free services and peeing me off. I will never again come back to BT when this nightmare is over. And I will make damn sure that everyone knows why!

Several things to report. We lost our lovely hens to foxes. They left a real mess too. Poor darlings. Nature can be so cruel sometimes.

The farm is finally going up for sale. Its taken us years to get to this point. Will put up a link when the agents have devised a potfolio. Not sure how much it is going up for. That remains a mystery. Hopefully it will sell quick and we can all get get on with our lives. So will be asking for a realistic price for a quick sale.

Matthew finally leaves school next Friday at the grand old age of 19. He is hoping to start a college course in catering at Thomas Danby. He loves cooking and is very good at it too. Matthew as learning difficulties but was 'good enough' to get onto a intermediate level course (pre level one). Avoiding the adult life skills courses for adults with learning difficulties. I think he is ready for a new challenge.

Wow.... cannot believe its been a year since I last posted something. What am I like? Well the kids are off school for the next fortnight. And I am having problems at keeping boredom at bay. We went to Lotherton Hall yesterday and I took some photos for my scrapbook. So I suppose that will give me something to do. Not sure what to do with the kids though. The sun is shining, and life is short so I will love you and leave you, BFN. xxx

18th May 2008

Matthew saw a rat last night starring at him from the wall cavity outside the house, and came back looking shocked and disgusted. Anyways, went to Sarah's housewarming and when we came home, some four hours later, the blasted little beast was still there! Looking as bold as brass. The joys of living on a farm are endless. Anyway enough of rats. We have been busy today preparing the hen house. Hubby has fenced a small portion of the garden off and we are clearing out the old hen house in preparation of four birds. The kids seem excited but they will have to wait until Saturday before hubby can get to the market. Anyway, enough from me. Will get back with progress report re; hen house and hopefully the fox won't murder them this time!
